Review
Once a questionnaire is received back, Marcus will review the initial merits. In a case that that feels he may be able to help with and, subject to satisfactory arrangements regarding funding, he will arrange a conference.

Funds will need to be agreed with the client and, subject to terms, paid on account in advance of any work commencing.

Chronology
Following the conference and receipt of the case papers Marcus will provide you with a detailed “Chronology”. This will be specific to your case from your date of birth onwards. This will form the backbone to the case preparation. All information must be agreed with the client who will have unrestricted input and can make suggestions for Marcus to review.

Opinion on arguable grounds
Each client must be clear that advice as to whether or not there are arguable grounds will have to be paid for. Marcus will provide a written opinion as to whether there are arguable grounds of appeal that can be put before the court on your behalf.
Perfecting grounds of appeal & submit
If positive grounds appear to exist to Marcus and the client instructs him to proceed Marcus will convert the initial opinion into perfected grounds of appeal or a report to the CCRC for submission.
Hearings
Subject to existing diary commitments Marcus will appear subject to the half-day or full day rate whichever is applicable.
